I don’t know if I have read a slow-life before this, but I can tell you right now, I don’t enjoy it as much as I should. There’s fundamentally nothing wrong with the story, the characters, or the concept, but it is just a really slow progression of the mc. Because I don’t tend to enjoy the kidsy, wholesome stories, I don’t find this near as fun or enjoyable to read than your typical drama, action, or romance packed progression; though, don’t get me wrong, this story does everything “right.” There’s not too many characters, the characters are semi-realistic, and the plot is relatively unique; you either love this story or you don’t, and I don’t because it’s not my style or preference. If you’re looking for something like a fantasy, cutesy and slow-progresses story with the mc as a child for basically 50 chapters, then this is it, but if you’re like me and want some drama or excitement in the plot, then your best option is to move on.
