About him and Misha fighting that group of plunderers. Why was he so scared? With the vampire essence, he can spill blood on them to make himself stronger, he heals super fast, he can’t die unless his heart is destroyed, and his blood is now acidic.
I could see if it were the ghostly mobs of that floor, but he is uniquely equipped to fight large groups of physical enemies. Even if he loses and they cut off his head or something, he’ll just heal until he’s sent back out of the dungeon. He could probably solo this dungeon with a few more essences and attack/defense varieties.
This dude is incredibly op, and this story should either stop acting like physical fights against him is in any way balanced or admit that making him op was a mistake and nerf him.

I am, pretty much, always advocate for killing, but this time it was all round net negative, even without that lord thing. But, at least, I can attribute that to great fatigue MC had.

Can we all agree that mercy was the right choice this time?
By choosing violence they got to:
-Skip a whole day
-stick with the team they know
-Summon the Layerlord which is probably a high level mob that requires well coordinated team to take down. Bjorn and Misha are alone
-potential accusations about plundering activity… again…which is this time technically true and not just a accusation
By choosing Mercy:
-They would have to endure one more day
-They get back to a party of 5 people which is a massive safety net
-shaky alliance
-Prevents potential summoning of the Layerlord which could spell doom for Small groups (we all know Bjorn would die this time without plotarmor)
-They have someone to clear their name in case of plunderer accusations.
-They have 2 partys accusation on the same women of being a worshipper of Karu which I can promise is going to become a problem later on as a single party doesn’t hold enough credibility. This will end up taking 3 chapters to get Miss Karu worship executed, I just know it.
-new potential teammates in the future. Its not like you can blame them because Bjorn was the ONLY one that didn’t fall for Missy Karu goody twoshoesstick. I don’t you peeps hating on Bjorns current team.
-potential connections
