Let alone the fact that NOBODY other than the mc has the vampire essence shows how incredibly valuable it is. Being able to regenerate a lost head is OP, but think about it for a moment: If the mc would face a situation where his head is crushed then it probably wouldn’t take long for his heart to also be damaged.
On the other hand, the regeneration stats were truly good, that’s a shame, but the immortal seal will probably make up for it.
Choosing the vampire essence was nonetheless the least bad choice.
The mc chose resistance over regeneration and I think it was the right decision.

Ah the simple joys of a pure unga bunga build. It’s a pity it came at the cost of his regen, but the gigantic boosts to his base defense and physical stats more than make up for it. Plus, as rare and difficult as it is to obtain, there’s always the possibility of grinding for the Vampire essence again, or another similar essence later on.
I don’t know if this is a good trade tbh with the vampire essence even if you were to slice off his head he could regenerate it so long as he still had his heart, with the ogre essence its just pure defense and physical power, honestly if you were to place both of those in front of me I’d pick the vampire essence just because of how broken it is and enemies don’t know they have to stab me in the heart to fully kill me giving me the surprise factor.
I would’ve traded one of the other essences instead and hopefully got some good synergy.

Yeah, corpse was more expendable but vampire essence was guardian lvl 4. It’s like an elite rare then he hit some unknown jackpot to upgrade it to guardian lvl 3.

Wasn’t the vampire essence an increase on regeneration? Wasn’t the corpse golem essence a damage on blood splatter?? Isn’t regeneration a necessity for tanks???
