Survive as a Barbarian in the Game - Chapter 96

here’s a bit of a rant but here we go.
I think that this was the best possible way to write his character, would of prefered if his relationship with his mother was furthered upon but that can be chalked up to it being in a manhua format. Many authors get far to attached to their characters at the expense of their plot and theme, it prohibits growth and cheapens the existing cast while also not making room for new characters to be introduced.
The biggest example of this would be Naruto for me, while many parts of naruto was well done the overabundance of characters was honestly unnecessary especially when the villain’s main philosophy was that the world is cruel and that the only way to solve the cycle of violence is via some extremist method. How on earth can anyone of the cast relate to the villain if they themselves aren’t experiencing the smae pain every so often.

My own opinion is tha choby should of died in the sausake retrieval arc, kiba should of died at the start of the ninja war, gura should of stayed dead after the tailed beast extraction, ten ten should of died in the chunin exam and so should half the cast. Like remember all the filler character, the one who was gonna become the leader of the mist village. wtf happened we could of had so many of compelling character that each have their span in the show instead of a stew of unexplained forgettable cutouts.

This one was done somewhat well but I still think there’s something to be desired here, instead of foreshadowing his death here I think the author should of killed rotmiller here and gave an arc where the mage falls into deep depression and conquers that on death’s door. IDK man
