I think we will discover that Shizuka’s mom is the actual android/AI. That’s why she and Nano have been always been so close…she’s used to it. Hence, no zing.

Yeah, that makes sense in this manga, right?
Okay, I do think the best best-friend pairing is actually Nano and Shizuka. There are lots of great ones in this group now but, something about their oppositeness brings out the absolute best in both.
Shizuka has always been tied for best girl with Karene for me. Seems Nano understands why.
