I really hate this arc. Karane’s going out of her way to act the way that she always wanted, and now she can finally be her happy self without putting up a front, but the first thing they do is try to turn her back.

Karene has always been my favorite after Shizuku, and she is such a dainty flower here. If it as me, I would be hard pressed to pick between the two versions, but he already has Hakari to fill the dainty role. He’d have to go hunting for a new tsundere. Life is too busy so, just revive the original model.

After finally watching Welcome to Demon School Iruma-Kun where we get Dainty Ameri, I had to come back and re-read this arc. One of the best in the whole series and I hope its the S2 finale. Because it is a hard choice picking between Dainty Ameri and Dainty Karene. Both way to adorable…if basically also no fat yogurt. Our boy Renterou would find a way to love Dainty Karene but…the Netherworld needed its full-powered Ameri and this world needs tsundere Karene.
The future of the world might just depend one day on the most tsun of tsunderes delivering a straight-man line or whacking Iku on the bum. So…bring back the original!
