They really should’ve just kept her un-tsundere. She’s so much nicer, and she WANTS to be nicer. The only reason she wanted to go back was because she “wants to be the one that he fell in love with.” Even though he said that she’d love her either way, and she genuinely wanted to be honest and kind.

Weird thing is if it had stayed just the two of them it would have been a nice manga like Girlfriend, Girlfriend. Funny and charming. But now, with girls added every four or five chapters, it has become the bizarre and perfect serotonin release that is 100 GF, but these two remain a great core along with Shiziku, Nano and Kusuri.
Who knew tsundere could be stimulated by bathing together…roughly.
I’ve given up declaring best girl. Just about all of them as we near the release of S2 of the anime have been great. And cuteness…is in the eye of the beholder of course. But, dang…something about this panel makes me want to just declare Karene as best girl and fight anyone who says otherwise, including myself when I’m off the smile drugs this chapter produced.
Great arc…wonder if we’ll need tsun-less Karene in the future adventures of the Renterou Family.
