why overpay mercenaries who are already invested in doing the job you want to pay them for? just a huge waste of money that could go towards more artifacts tbh

I personally would have paid 200 gold and kept 100 for his family’s land. There’s bound to be repairs needed after the undead is defeated

easily could’ve paid 50-100 with a promise to help find his swords after, why the hell would be give all of his tournament earning AND the reward for the 3rd highest grade quest????
