The Dark Magician Transmigrates After 66666 Years - Chapter 191
Comments for chapter "Chapter 191"
whaaat?
It’s all really feels like he’s going back to abusive ex, after a years of therapy. But instead of an ex it’s edgy personality.
All this character growth, and we end up with a black fringe instead of reasonable and stable protag.
Jamie’s dad didn’t have to die a dogs death for Jamie to break.
This 2nd half after the time skip has been a hot garbage fire.
So is he repeating the same mistake as before?
The point/opportunity to have the MC fall to the darkside and find his lightside again is past.
Breaking with the theme at this point, when it was already established that he understands his identity as Jamie Welton makes all the difference compared to his previous identity as Diablo Volfir, shows us that the scope of the story has outgrown the author’s ability to grasp it in it’s entirety.
This is the kind of abrupt change you’re subjected to when you play with your little nephew or niece when they introduce a completely new rule to the game you’re playing.
Here, the series betrays itself thematically. Up until now, it had been about MC becoming Jamie Welton, and embracing it.
Now they are doing a 180. I understand why many are perplexed in the comments.
They are basically breaking the story they built until now.
I’m done with this.
Predictable and dull.
NGL, I don’t like the way this is progressing. It just… it kinda feels bad, and not just because Count Welton died.
Well This Series Turned Dark Real Fast, Also it Started Progressing So Fast, I Thought He’d Face More Gods

Half of major ennemies who were horrible beings just died for nothing at the hand of the antagonist. Like why follow while fearing such a douchebag for thousands of years only to end up like that.
And his dad, who had more impact on the story than litteral races leaders just died in 2 chapters for fun too.
I like mc getting overly emotionnal but not to the point of casting his family aside and rejecting what he’s been building for nearly 200 chapters. And there wasn’t a need for it to be his dad tbh. His people are not even reacting.
Just feels like a waste of chapters and speech bubles.
Well there might be some nuances to add but even with them i don’t see any scenario where he doesn’t even struggle to keep his sanity/composure like that.
Wha’ts more he’s fleeing when the territory just lost his ruler and his family their father it’s so terrible. At least i would have wanted to see him struggle with what follows for the war + the territory + nightmares or some emotion turmoil induced by fathers death and the demonic power. I don’t know.
I’ll just wait a long while and look at the coments before resuming reading it I guess
