I think that there’s 1 or 2 (maybe 3) chapters left before the end of this arc 
she become subaru lol
She’s pretty dang strong willed and thanks to Ed her will never broke unlike the original plot
So Adele was a sacrifice to summon the dragon and it’s meant to somehow ‘help’ the Saintess. I can see why in the game she turns on the church and becomes dark. I also note in all these timelines the dragon never kills her, I wonder if the dragon is somehow connected to her.
So where’s yenika in all of this?
Man after this arc Ed’s gonna have: Lucy, the Saintess, Lortel, Yenika and maybe even Marilda.
This arc cemented Ed as HIM. Every single death he stood on business and keeps trying to do so.
