Why didn’t Adele ask Headmaster or MC for help despite many time travels? When MC told her about her future death (c69), she just resigned to her fate instead of being surprised and questioning how MC knew.

…so this is why Clarice turned on the church: they knew. They knew the old warnings about the dragon’s full power, they knew that a Saintess’ sacrifice was required just to SEAL it, and yet they were so desperate for power and glory that they went ahead with summoning the dragon in a heavily-crowded academy, without a single care about keeping a Saintess closeby. To top it all off, her one childhood friend, Adele, had been aware of this twisted fate and had been trying to warn her for years to run away, but in the original game’s timeline, Adele ended up needing to sacrifice herself to stop the dragon from wrecking havoc, leaving Clarice with no friends left in this world, the burned-in knowledge of the dragon’s terrible power, and the awareness that the seal this time was far weaker than the original ancient seal, meaning that she would have been aware that the dragon would return soon to destroy the world.
If that’s the case, why not publicly go against the corrupt church and start attacking the pope, cardinals, and archbishops who just killed her best/only friend? If the world is doomed to burn and the “Saintess” is fated to be sacrificed, why not say “Screw that” and go out on your own terms?
This man needs to removed from polite society, into a monastery.
