Ok, I’m caught up.
The ground work has been laid that he will probably get his energy back, and I am basing the potential of this story on that premise.
If he does get it back and slowly works his way back up to being beyond his prime them I think this story can really shine, since we know in Murim no internal energy means you just can’t do anything in comparison when real skilled users are around.
This might be a let it cook for 30/40 chapters kinda story from my perspective though
