The Frontier Alchemist ~ I Can't Go Back to That Job After You Made My Budget Zero - Chapter 2
Comments for chapter "Chapter 2"
I know, I know it’s fantasy, but blatant logic errors and factual errors make me mad.
Logic errors:
- He said that the water contained nothing but water. Then he said that it contain the devine element.
So what is it now?
… I had another error but I have forgotten it.
Factual errors:
- Absolute pure water is impossible. Water spontaneous decays into H+ and OH- ions.
Which is also the reason why it corrodes and dissolves metals.
And it those ions also react with each other to form water again.
- The aggressiveness here stated is wrong on so many level it would take too much text to explain it.
- Water tends to form chains with up 100 molecules bound by weak hydrogen bridges/bonds. (Hydrogen bridge: Electrostatic bond of a[n otherwise chemical bonded] hydrogen atom with some other atom. In a water each hydrogen atom is chemically bonded to an oxygen atom. But that bond leaves the hydrogen atom slightly positive charged and the oxygen negative. So the hydrogen of one water molecule attracts the oxygen of another.)
- Water aggressively dissolves gasses. Usually that doesn’t matter, so nobody bothers to remove them.
- Even water without minerals and gasses dissolves metals. That’s the driving force behind galvanic corrosion. If oxygen is at play and only one metal it will corrode (more or less slowly). Except noble metals.
I am always amused when alchemy magic has ingredient manipulation skills, then again there’s nothing to say one can’t use various type of magic.
Man he’s right, the basics are everything- like I’m only gonna survive basic maths and not advanced math. Cry*
im sorry but i love the hippo
he done an Ains
Also the amount of detail in everything is… I have to say quite impressive, alchemy in this world is really extremely complicated, or at least it is at the ungodly level demonstrated by the MC…
Ruining the balance of the world just by distilling water, while also giving it holy properties… they really fired a living God
So theyre essentially making a profit by forcing the department to do the material prep while taking all of the profits? hahahahahaha Its gonna be quite funny to see what happens to the association afterwards hahaha theyre practically chefs that screwed over the Kobe Beef farmer hahahaha
Hippo kinda makes sense as a mount, they would be good in a pinh as they are probably the most murderous animal out there
Yay
a caterpillar hippo with 8 legs. that’s not the first thing that comes to my mind when i think of a mount.
I also really hope the story won’t be like half this chapter of him making the holy water. Yes he is an alchemist. But if the whole story is repeatedly explaining the next cool amazing thing, then it’s not for me.
It kinda reminds me of series which started good and then continue with every chapter being how they make new amazing food and technologies in detail in an alternate world over and over.
Good thing this is a magic fantasy land since irl perfectly pure water would straight-up kill a person
ultra blessing ftw
