why TF does this chapter feel way longer than the last chaps where i have to wait weeks tor this arc to finish 
Ok adding details they missed from the novel, first his scroll isnt a wall, its terraforming, he simply made a wall with it this time. Second flooding is apparently a big problem in the empire that until now, they had no means to deal with, hence why his scroll is so desired. Lastly, making one scroll takes time, but rain is the only mage capable of using multiple spells at the same time which is a huuugggeee deal.
P,s the next few chapters should be 10 times better than the last few chapters if it follows the novel a litttle better.
He won because the plot demanded it 😒.
I feel like him barely qualifying would have been better as that time limit is severe especially when the guests have limited amount of scrolls now his scroll is useful however it cant be used to make anything intricate and using it for smaller things wouldn’t be very effective and little people need to make things that are that big though they really need to wrap this up it’s dragging way to long
Let’s find out if this will differ with the novel. It will tell us if they plan to give it more substance for the story sake which is kind of meh since we don’t really know these characters.
Then the MC will face off against him because he can smell the blood in the air and tracks him down in the forest.
Am I crazy I feel like they’ve been uploading chapters unusually fast OR I simply autopilot all week long

Or at least that’s what it ended up being after the previous mini-arc, it ruined everything, it was easier to present it like this and just this.
I’ll still think a sentient golem is way more useful than a wall that would probably make AoT reference, being breached, if you know what I mean
