This is… very poorly done, and has no real stakes. Just about all the characters we know are nobles. Even if he lost, this would change nothing for us, the readers. Outside of him saying “darn I lost.”. I bet that he either wins, or the other team suddenly sympathize with them because of their effort and talk-no-jutsu. Bet no one gets expelled even if the MC loses.
Damn, I couldn’t give a shit about any of this
