I will never understand these “comic-monsters”… it just had that adventurer in its mouth and instead of eating the upper part, it was just spit out (or just cut in half with its buck teeth?) without consumption.
If it’s “human-like” (goblin, ogre, aso), then I could understand it that the guy needs to be dead, before they can take it home and cook him over slow fire, spiced with basil and parsley (within reasonable sense!), then at the end a few drops of lemon juice… but where does this (points to the last page) make any sense?
Oh well… a mystery for all eternity. :-/
