WTF was that? The mc surely faced way worse in his previous life and now he’s being useless? That’s some shit writing. and miss me with that trauma bullshit, it wouldn’t even make sense in this context, especially when the story gave us no indication whatsoever that he had any trauma associated with black magic or that poison in the first place. This story really should’ve stayed on course and never went down the reincarnation path because it’s really bad.

MC literally just had a trauma flashback like a Vietnam vet. He was killed form the black poison toxicity buildup which lost him everyone he ever knew, recent chapters with the art especially showed how it was sinking in how alone he was.
He WAS smart enough to ask about the money as it was a coping mechanist as he is a logical thinker and needed something to strive and push himself towards.

my god the art in this is so good. The fear that’s conveyed though character expression is just amazing. I can feel the fear of a nightmare inducing rat spider just by looking. Amazing, really.
