Theyre writing for children. The whole “i was an adult but got regressed” is just a lazy cop out and plot device for when the author needs to make the reader feel awesome. Other than that, the moment the INSERT CHARACTER (YOU) gets regressed, he acts like a child because HE ALWAYS WAS.

Its the Authors projection of his audiences’ demographic. Ie; mc who regresses will always just be a child. Because thats the main reader. Children.

and then they act like THIS mc. Like a fvcking baby.
