MC was described as having a sh1tty personality from the start. He is being stupid ? He’s acting childish for revenges from his past ? Yes, yes he is. That’s kind of the point of this Character.
Personally I like it, finally a flawed human being in a story that’s not a villain or a dumb sidecharacter.
