The Player With a Hidden Past

As of Chapter 83. Note to Self: This is the one about a middle schooler who played a VR game and made a cringey, fallen aristocratic, edgy, demon hunter character in the game, and later, when the VR game became reality on Earth, synchronized with his character. The MC, IMO, is the edge lord character and NOT the body he took over. It has a multiple personality vibe going on, but to be honest, the “Character” is calling all of the shots, and the consciousness of his original soul is just commentary that occasionally can influence the “Character’s” decisions.

You like this one; it reminds you a lot of Overgeared, Solo Leveling, and the one with the King of the Lionheart in it. Same kind of comedy/action adventure with video game mechanics vibe. The thing that makes the story is the “Character” of the MC. Everything else is pretty much generic and would be boring without him. BUT that is the whole point of the story anyway, is this edge lord, and why he’s important.

Arts good, translations good. Female characters simp for the MC, but he doesn’t care. Male character simp for him as well BTW, but yet again, MC is too busy being the light in the dark and drinking tea to care. Pretty good world-building, with some interesting lore. All in all, better than mid IMO, but nothing grand either.
