I feel like the latter half of this chapter was a smokescreen to cover the BS that is the poison immunity pill he took, and when I look at the comments my suspicions are all but proven.

If you’re a great wizard *correction* the greatest wizard, why bury that instead of taking it to cover your one weakness? 
The thought process had to be like, “I’m strong enough to beat 10 knights with a single spell, no way someone will use poison, my only weakness against me. So I’ll bury this.” 
What’s that stupid face when he enters the door. Artist could have made her look more attractive and feminine.
Also, this isn’t the least bit realistic, in medieval times, no woman would invite a man to her home; it would be considered dishonorable and scandalous.

Wait … he had a pill that made him immune to poison and he didn’t use it in his last life ? didn’t he say at the beginning of the story that the only weak point of a mage is poison ?
His whole point of learning swordsmanship was to strengthen his body. But apparently wizards just awaken really strong bodies, and now HE HAD A POISON IMMUNITY PILL THE WHOLE TIME!? Author just shot himself in the foot here
