I don’t know what it is about this story but it makes me feel “ehhhh”. The MC is lazy and boring, there’s no excitement at all (while I do understand that he just came back from a 10 year adventure saving another world and missing his mother and relax but I’d say that makes it a boring story). We got like one dope scene of the MC and that was it. I think it’d be more interesting if the MC had a girlfriend or something or maybe start making him do more action scenes so it spices up the story, but to no avail. I think I would appreciate the story more if it was a slice of life, but I don’t think that’s the intended purpose. I feel there’s an end goal but all we see him do is cook, play match-maker (I skimmed through the story a little bit so not sure if he does it), give “advice”/help people solve their problems. In total its boring 5/10. Whoever read this maybe will disagree but I didn’t have the patience and read this story. Hopefully we see more action or something to spice up the story.
The story is what you would expect, MC is op that tried to live his life (normally?) after coming back but it doesn’t mean it’s bad it’s good but it’s the execution that is holding this manhwa back. The transitions are weirdly constructed, sometimes it’s a bit confusing, it give me a feeling that the author wants to make it cartoony and comedic by adding short transitions to what could have been well elaborated. One example is when a villain came to their restaurant to which expectedly beat up no sweat, but then he just drops him off to the police just like that no questions whatsoever in a cartoony style even though it was supposed to be dramatic since he just killed off someone with their heads on a plastic bag.
