This has to be noted though, since like chapter 5, every word “in” is replaced by “benevolence”, probably on account of TL or QA being a dumbass

You will start reading this at chapter 1, and may think “wow, this man is starting his new life of revenge at the literal “end” of his life, he will escape captivity and perhaps seek to restore what he deems “right””
But no, for some ungodly reason author decides to regress him to the pasr, and give him a very generous advantage of knowing the future, going back to perhaps the most overused trope in manhwas.
Such “move” kills off any potential doubt for MC’s ability to overcome a “challenge”, as well as any doubt in MC’s plot armour. While also allowing author to vague-bait and plant cliffhangers, with MC saying stuff like: “I guess it is time to use THAT” and you, as a reader, can only wonder why MC cannot bear to name anything before it is introduced, so you have no chance to properly interact/theorise with/about the story.
Overall, would not recommend, it dares to be extremely generic without anything particularly unique or interesting going for it.

Benevolence it is. Wasted potential with edgelord-MC, idealistically worst of kind.
Idk why flkds cursing at xianxia as genre – there’re enough excellent examples, it’s just hundredfold more of low-quality parodies and mindless copies.
Author chose a trope “wasted prodigy regret his life on deathbed, getting offer of redeeming all from Devil, and having isekaided goes on killing rampage” – nothing more so far.
It’s not hard to comprehend squashed plotline, but it’s just there’re few things to understand.
Commendable effort to add a layer of DaoDeJing in dat narrative, although just merely and offensively insignificant.

This is a comprehension test disguised as a manhwa. As I predicted 90% of “readers” fail. This is because they can’t read or even look at pictures and interpret what they mean. If you thought the comments here were bad go check out asura if you want to see a group of illiterates.
What would be 40-maybe even 60 chapters in another manwhatever has been condensed to 20. This cuts alot of the world setup exposition stuff that you’ve read in 100 other manwhatevers. Where it lost the most readtards is when theres flashbacks to earlier events that didn’t fully play out, so it’s not in chronological order and readtards can’t figure it out.
It’s pretty funny since if it wasn’t condensed they’d say it’s of the same quality as their favorite “story” ever solo leveling. Though personally I’d have to say this is of a higher quality since unlike shlomo leveling the MC isn’t a lobotomite, not that it’s any good though.

I wish they would just have the Murim as a genre and tag it in the list of genres. I would not even bother to pick them up as i don’t like any of the murim stories.

It’s not bad if you dont think to much and just speed through it, but he’s supposed to be a genius. He has the family seal and could literally solve most problems but he chose to forgo it completely and go around killing and letting evil people roam free while he slowly handles everything. I wish he was smart.
