His army was destroyed, and he didn’t want to be a mercenary. Loren had very little money left. He had only one option – to join the adventurer guild to make money to feed himself.

As an adult reader, this manga hits the right spot for me, the characters are mature, the MC and even the heroine got brain and can think by themselves, the realistic approach on the risk of death is good 👍
The MC is not just your typical brainless OP beta male…and there’s no harem until chapter 25….too bad the chapters are only 25 when it’s already out for 6 years… Such a gem like this got abandoned while all the other thrash series got updated frequently and got over hyped….tsk tsk tsk

This is a quick heads up for anyone planning to read this. Up to chapter 22 the MC group is really enjoyable, the only real issue so far is too much attention on side characters that are written to just be disliked. Other than that its actually fucking awesome.
