As of now, its been almost a year since the hiatus so i’ll take this time to review what we already have. ( I’ve read this a while ago so some stuff are kind of hazy)

For starters, this was a very enjoyable and fun series to read. It’s got comedy, (lot’s of it if i may add) some fight scenes and some good worldbuilding moments.
It’s not exactly the most mind shaking and extraordinary plot but it has a very satisfying execution. I particularlly liked the interactions between the characters and obviously the deviously good food the Mc cooks for his clients.

Another thing that caught (?) my attention was the Mc’s status.

spoiler but not really since we know about it in like the first few chap

The fact that Mc’s is a god (or hero-turned god) was kind of the cherry on top, at least for me as I have quite a sweet tooth for “These” type of Mc’s, guilty pleasure ig.

To add some more something that really made it stand out compared to others of the same genre, is the obvious execution, as well as the art. Now this may only be me but this art style just looks so eye pleasing and satisfying which made reading the panels much more enjoyable, the simple render style and overall chara design is chef kiss.

Globally :
-Story -> 8/10 overall good but could have more depth
-Plot -> 8/10 simple but efficient
-Art -> 10/10 really liked it
-Comedy -> 9.5/10 very good
-Mc -> 9/10 very likeable Mc to follow
-Side chara -> 8.5/10 quite good, easy to appreciate and to relate (?) quite well written

Overall score : 9/10, very enjoyable would 100% recommend.

he does not open the restaurant for the sake of cooking nor was it for money and fame.
it was to ‘share’ his misery to Earth people too so that he was not the only one who suffer 🤣
