So if you go back to chapter 18 you will see that one of the “friends” looked like the Goddess (same ear ring, same shirt, appears to be same hair) so she probably ends up betraying them. Maybe it was one of those deals where they were sent to save the world or something and she ends up betraying and taking the credit. And the twins (the two guys also in the flash back) were probably the twins mentioned in the story who later got vilified by going against her. How she ended up getting praised as a deity though is anyone’s guess. Wonder who then was the evil god. Was it the leader of their group, our main character, or the black haired girl who our mc keeps remembering and seemed to hold a special place in his heart.
