GOOD. finally. that shithead was a liability – doesn’t obey orders from a superior, runs away instead of doing his literal job, jeopardizes the rest of the group AND village over his greed… yeah he should’ve died several times over already.

He deserved the death, as others pointed out those other village kids clearly didn’t fully know what they were getting into, they watched one of the kids nearly get their heads cut off and he didn’t care. He put the lives of everyone at risk just because he wanted money.
A mercenary band is like a squad of soldiers: their effectiveness relies on a mixture of skill and trust. Skill with their weapon, trust that the weapon won’t break in the next fight, skill in their tactics, trust that the men next to them will have their back when the dust kicks up, etc. Gamson was a braggart picking unwinnable fights, a coward in actual combat, a greedy thief, and unrepentant until the end. He had plenty of chances given to him, and he rejected every last one. Add in the fact that he abandoned his comrades Vullen and Pra when Vullen appeared to be in danger during the theft, and the punishment was more than deserved for the worthless traitor.
Time and time again he kept showing he wanted to die because ain’t no way 
The guy was dangerously stupid. He risked not only the lives of the villagers, but the guards and merchant as well.
I dont mind the other kids i mean it was bad but it was only their first offence and they seemed remorseful gamson runs away at first danger and doesnt even seem the skightest bit sorry he desrves it

You don’t fuck up multiple times in actual mercenary band and it’s not like that group is brutal it’s just this guy didn’t show even a sign of remorse for going against “noble”

they actually deserved to die. as they already said if it was another knight the entire village might be cooked but at least that annoying guy is dead
Good not only was he a coward loud mouth but also a thief he would sell out his own given the chance and someone like that can’t be trusted in a mercenary group
