U gotta read the light novel, there way too much detail cut out which makes the story bad. all the character building and whatnot is gone. the introduced characters are turned generic with no soul in this adaptation. Highly recommend the light novel though – its like the original lighthearted comedy this was

I am stopping at chapter 71
It’s not that the story is bad pper se, but I dont feel rhe excitement I had reading it, it feels more like a chore or a weekly task than wanting to read it

the story had a drop off around chapter 57-61 it just don’t hit the same as the early chapters

it deserves way better than 4.2 this is probably like 4.5-.4.7 stuff. Not exactly a masterpiece but really enjoyable

starting with chapter 50 or so, the story will focus on sub plots and sub characters, the MC slowly disappearing. Like a Prince of Tennis curse, it seems to be the beginning of the end for this manhwa. Too bad, the start was fun, but it got worse and lazy with time

There were just way too many story points and mechanics that were setup and unused. It’s eventually devolved into a mess. Why even mention he was a MMA champion if the entire thing won’t feature anyway? What about all of his character background before this? If you enjoy coherence and strong writing, this isn’t it.

This is legit one of the best ongoing manhwas on this site. At least in the top 10.
Isekai – check
Comedy – check
Strong MC – nope, dude literally has to act as a lapdog to survive.
Relatable MC – check, dude doesn’t want to be a hero, he just wants to live my dude.
A good sidecast – check
Well proportioned women – yezz.
World – is deeper than skin deep, the way how things work kinda makes sense in the recent chapters.
