Even as a gay guy, I had a ton of fun reading this one.
Often in video games where they offer romantic options, Fire Emblem and Persona jumping immediately to mind, they try to pair you off with characters that I personally feel absolutely no chemistry with. I’ve often felt it might be fun if I could somehow actively sabotage the romance events, but alas, that’s never a consideration in development.
So it’s a not so secret delight to see the protagonist in this story watching this protagonist follow the letter of the law of the game world, and absolutely not the spirit of it. (Rugby tackles in place of embraces for instance)
If I had but one complaint, it would be that most of the characters are extremely 2 dimensional, but that wouldn’t be very valid since it’s kinda the point of the setting that the characters lack any kind of depth and that the protagonist wants as little to do with any of them as possible.
But yeah, extremely funny and I love seeing the protagonist actively fight the rules of the setting.
Wish this didn’t end 🤣 Would be interesting if it had a gender bender arc to see MCs reaction.
It’s kind of a cool story with some a bit unexpected plot
Fortunately, most people can look past that.
Also big part of the comedy rellies on the otome reaction of the characters , not in the gay hyperbole. Like in the food game where he tries to reconcile with one of the otome characters, but the entire joke is that all he achieves is make the character feel pity for him
hahahahaha this shit is hilarious ! Excellent comedy 5/5
This comment should be titled ” Westerner discovers there are other cultures in the world and most of them don’t appreciate gays” lmfao.
haha. Greta comedy
