Ultimate Devouring System is a typical system based manhua. However, the twist is that the system is reliant on the good-old concept of gluttony. Really, this isn’t much different from its early counterpart of Ultimate Scheming System, but still entertaining nonetheless. Also considering the fact that I used to obsess over the first 20 or so chapters of Ultimate Scheming System, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Either way, I digress. For the art, it really is subpar. Though art can elevate a story to greatness, this manhua’s artstyle doesn’t ruin its enjoyability factor. Regarding the plot, it really isn’t anything noteworthy nor special. Though I will say, I don’t recall ever reading of any similar cultivation levels/phases as this includes. I would love to learn more about the manhua’s world + concept, but it’s the type of story that establishes norms as it progresses. Coming into this, I didn’t expect anything great, and I didn’t receive anything great. However, it is a worthy read if you enjoy the harem style system manhuas.

Fun fact that is not so fun: This is the second time I’m writing this review since the web page refreshed right as soon as I was going to post said review. So if it seems rushed, blame my iPad.
