A brief description of the manhwa Villain Initialization:
Ling Chen lived as a villain for 35 years; however, in the final battle with the hero Ye Muxue, he was reset-reborn back to age 17. What does this mean for Ling Chen? Does he want to be human again? Listen less and fight more! It’s time to kill Ye Mu, who wasn’t super powered at that time.

I kind of just stopped reading after chapter 80. The translation is barely passable and the pacing is very stuttery. It feels like chapters are missing since events just happen that feel like they needed a build-up. Instead, you are forced to put together what just happened which is made harder thanks to the poor translation. (Even the official translations are often subpar)
there are some good bits in here, but you are going to have to put in a lot of work and focus to unravel what’s going on. Had there been a better translation, I would have stuck with it as I like the setting and the premise. I just don’t have the energy to continue after my short hiatus from where I left off.
Where are chapters 104 & 105? Why are they missing? Such a critical moment, too yet no one is even mentioning it?
Good story, good characters and development.. translation is terrible at times… Still a good read 4/5
Good story but mangaread consistently failed to load panels of the story so alot of chapters just end for no rhyme or reason or something happens for no explicate reason in the same vein.
The story is wonderful, if there’s a LN go read that… this version is confusing hot dog shit that does such a great plot too damn dirty.
Story is great. Translation is shit
(Chapter 47)
Just read it,
It can get so addicting,
I’m supposed to be Studying,
Help me ;-;
I read the 119 in two days. I’m in love with this now. Probably one of the best mangas in here. The story is not for everyone, this is not a shonen, where everything gets fixed with the power of friendship and violence, good people dies, caring people dies, they die a lot, in horrible ways too. But that’s just the drama of it. The way the author fleshes every character, giving each one a motivation and how they interact with each other it’s just beautiful.
so 12 chapters in and it seems okay but theres something just off with it … idk if its the concept or its just me already kinda seen this tory before
i dont feel the motivation to read this yet, too many uploads for me to read at once, I’ll leave this for some time to age
Read until chapter 70. My lord this thing is amazing. The author, muack, excellent story. Just excellent.
This Manga is actually a great representation of this place, low score despite being a hidden gem.
It’s a pretty good one, you have a main character who is a real pice of sh1t, but in the good sense, he is an interesting piece of sh1t.
The relationship between him and Ye Mu is a pretty decent one, he has actually tried to kill him several times despite failing.
This guy is a villain done right, someone with ideals ( althought twisted ones ) willing to go to any extent to further his goal, but, one day everything goes back to before he was one, before he had his motivations to become one. So the manga goes around the question ” Will he follow the same path and fulfill his ideals, his life’s goal, or will he take this opportunity to change what was, and keep it all from happening in the first place ? ”.
And MC actually struggles with this, he has tried to kill his hero archnemesis , but failed at it, but at the same time, as the story goes on, he slowly begins to change , and to look further to the problem.
Really an interesting read, not the best one out there but truly a good one.
100+ chapter in 1 hour
chapter 40 now, TL gets better and its a pretty fun story
I’m only 11 chapters in and the TL isn’t great but it is silly as fuck and I’m having a good time
