This is the first manga where I’m actively rooting for the mc’s denseness. Bro doesn’t need any romance, only REVENGE.

Let’s be real here, people read school harem mangas mostly for the best girls, neglecting the male mc most of the time. So when there is a story where the mc is likable/strong, it really stands out from the rest of the pack. That being said, the mc isn’t much different, so the experience is likewise the same.
Characters are your typical high school beauties/talents while the mc is the classic dense, narrow-minded person that are common nowadays. Despite the generics, they all have their screw-looses, so their comedic impact makes this a rather enjoyable read.
The plot is to be expected of a harem story carried by its concept, so there’s not much of a deep-lore of the character’s personality or eventual development. Though it would’ve been nice, the manga doesn’t need that as it suffices as a comedic harem.
I don’t tend to enjoy harems as my ships never fail to sink when it comes to that point, but while the journey lasts, I’ll savor every moment of the present thrill/laughs this manga provides.

I read the raws and read this. Some of the translations are straight-up just weird. Like translating in the first page 「くそ・・・」 as “Fools”
It baffles me the huge amount of authors who choose to create stories about people unable to have healthy relationships, and trying to force on others an optic about how that is “cute”.

Where harem tag?
Boy bullied in elementary school spends 5 years plotting revenge, and transfers back to his old town to discover his 3 bullies are in the same class, and they’re all gasp girls, and they’ve all spent 5 years dreaming of the day he would return (according to the prophecy, I guess?). It’s too silly to criticize. The gender-bending (there’s more) is pretty light, the romance is more like a curse the girls are afflicted with, and the MC is dense as depleted uranium. I wasn’t having fun, but it’s not unreadable, ymmv.
