What the hell is wrong with Touya??!! He should have kept Lumina as wife number 3 or 4 is you count the loli elf. What the F#ck is wrong with him? Oh, Japanese. Right!
So why didn’t MC heal the old ruler? You’d think that would win some trust points. That said if the MC really wants to prevent the hero from interfering he should find a faster transport or use teleport (with stealth or invisibility) and create chaos behind enemy lines: put contents of a lake in storage and flood major town or the capital or the castle, wipe out roads to impeded army movements, burn granaries and food stores (army travels on its stomach), summon monsters into the middle of camps, steal weapons and arrows, blankets, horse fodder and just overall kill morale. The hero would be forced to deal with his antics and maybe lure the hero into situations where he can gauge his strength, steal his gear, poison or immobilize or teleport him while doing mop up like eliminating the king, maybe teleport or imprison the princess.
If he had no morals about it… mc could just use his ultimate ability / skill…

Or put a mountain(enormous boulder) in inventory, and drop it on them from the sky…
Anything fired at the mc can just be blocked by putting it in the inventory…
Or run at enemyputting everything into the inventory until enemy is disarmed or even naked…
