Suprised the old guy is weak, thoight it was gonna be one of those former heros who gets exiled to the demon forest tropes
Hmm… i know it’s to portray mc being strong and stuff but going against a human who have lived in a forest full of monsters who clearly lived long enough to build a proper house, record everything, and is still alive until that age while he is holding a crossbow and you have nothing to defend with. Is pretty dumb, idk if it’s intentional but it portrays MC being overconfident, a bit unlikeable and insanely short-thinking. Just to read a single book he is willing to kill another survivor? Idk, such a pointless scene that just made MC stand on the bad side more.
How the hell did he get killed in no time for 13 years and now he just waltz right through them? Wasnt half dying enough determination?
I hate when mc will point sword and make an expecting to kill innocent, but when it actually bad people, they say, noo I dont want to kill him, I’ll just beat him then let him go until he harmed to many people
You get a hole in the back of your head. It’s when you have a pistol but with crossbow you get a stick in the pack of your head.

He says the eating the demon cores give him powers sometimes, but he didn’t describe what the powers are

Manhwas characters like to leap high to attack. I guess because it looks cool to readers. Can’t change direction once you leap though.
