Drug Devourer

So… I understand the sentiment.
I’ll explain what’s going on here properly.

Basically the background development is nonsensical and too fast. Obviously it’s not explained, nothing is explained. The normal world gets transformed into a wuxia (yes, a Chinese wuxia) for no reason, and nothing is really explained so I can’t even explain it to you. It’s really to that extent. I don’t know where people with superpowers are from some other places or are all earthlings. Some are earthlings for sure.

Mc has average IQ. You’d say pretty smart at times and pretty dumb at other times. His development goes in another direction completely. After chap 8 it’s like author forgot this is “drug devourer”. Like a cheap manhua, barely anything is explained, except in the beginning. MC is dumb with others, and is typically taken advantage of. That’s VERY unsatisfying.

All in all… It still will go in a direction you won’t expect it to go. And at a very fast pace without any dialogue or panel to explain you anything. I feel like I’m reading a plot thought by some abstract artist, designed not to make any sense whatsoever, so it’s actually barely entertaining to see where it is going.

What else? Art is on the high end of average, translation is good (I’ve been comparing this to a manhua, so obviously I’m going to mention the usual plight of any manhua: translation), and lastly… My comment might sound the same as that of “crazy beaver”, right under mine… But what can I do? This story is actually schizophrenic! That’s the only way to describe it!
