The whole story and every character is completely messed up and crazy. After reading the whole thing I’m not sure whether to recommend this or not

Uh it’s a manga that’s for sure. Uuuuhh yeah if you like fighting and a complicated main character and dark stories and maybe a bit of incest but it’s not really incest thrown in there then you will like this?

I just finished and I can really say it was one hell of a manga. A lot of twists. I loved the side characters. The art is very unique and good in its own way. It’s kind of dark and as I said before, it was really a harsh reality. In times like this, some people lose their humanity and make a religion to keep them going. Kind of like a reason to live. A meaning. Instead of accepting reality. They create a lie for the people to believe.

Like Viktor Frankl said, in tough times, people will need meaning or something to hold onto and which helps them to survive. Like religion. It’s a 9/10 for me :pica:

I’m a few chapters in and I can confirm that it’s good. Good plot. It really shows the evil in people and the harsh reality that changed them. I won’t say why, but the first chapter really got to me. Really awful.

It’s finally here!

You absolutely should read this. It’s by the same author as Chainsaw Man so quality is guaranteed. The characters are so human and I love them, which is a huge relief considering how grim their world is. The action scenes are great too. Loved the ending and hope you will too.
