Summary

A brief description of the manga Former General Is Undead Knight:

Lambert, one of the great generals from Regios kingdom, was suspected of planning a rebellion against his lord at the end of the unification war, and as a result, he died an unnatural death.

Two hundred years later, when the era had changed and the Regios kingdom had entered its peaceful era, he was accidentally revived as a demon called Undead Knight Lambert, whose entire body was wrapped in a flashy Demon Metal Organ.

So Lambert set out on a journey to punish the wrongdoers while enjoying the peaceful sight of Regios kingdom. But… this peaceful era was basically an easy mode for Lambert, the greatest general of the chaotic era.

its good, and wurth the time.
I want more of this, but i am also happy for how it have “ended” at chapter.23. Would not be mad if there would come more, ore it ends like this.

It’s good.

Knight gets betrayed then revived as a skeleton in the future. It’s a standard premise, but surprisingly it doesn’t turn into a revenge story. The protagonist retains his loyalty, despite the betrayal, and bitterly tries to fix the rotten place that his country has turned into.

It’s manly enough to give you mantears, it doesn’t shy away from killing interesting characters, and it’s original in its execution.

This is like Goblin Slayer but with scummy nobles instead. Nobling Slayer or something.
But it’s actually quite good for the moment. We’ll see if it keeps this level. Anyways, knights with big swords are always cool :cuteanime:

He doesn’t have anything special, especially in this day and age where it’s not his era anymore. He’s just an undead knight who used to be a general. He’s not all that great tbh, even his personality is questionable.
