You know, I don’t mind any main characters that have a sense of justice and have that hero or knight vibe in the story. Basically having that humility like a hero or a knight. Sure it gets annoying, but what do you expect from mc’s who has that hero or knight complex 😒. But, I do have an issue with any mc that sense of justice but is also naive, gullible, and dense as its only trait 😓.

This mc…having all of that combined as his character trait, isn’t really a main character. Especially for someone who has humility and to be an adventurer 😐. He might as well be either a background, side, or a forgettable character, having all that character trait into one in his own story :no: .

This is frustrating enough that I dropped it twice, but it has enough potential that I’m caught up on the third try. It does seem to be finding it’s feet (I’m at ch.44). The translation is frequently unsmooth but not terrible. The action scenes are hard to follow, characters in battle often look like each other, and sometimes a character deals damage in one panel but has taken that damage himself two panels later (you can only tell who is who by the clothes). Very often damage just vanishes without explanation. Also, there are changes in the world’s rules, and key elements of the premise just get abandoned. Few characters are sympathetic at all, and who the bad guys are is often not explained until much later. The characters face strong enemies and there is a sense of danger to MC and his party, which is a plus. It does seem to be settling in to a fairly standard shonen adventure, and the central characters are becoming more sympathetic. Not a recommend, but I’m not telling you to save yourself, either.

This is interesting in a very obnoxious way. The characters are almost all completely reprehensible, aside from a handful of them, they serve no purpose other than ‘haha evil character!’

The translation also feels off at times, mainly the way certain words are used. Not sure if I am at fault for missing an explanation somewhere, but they also seem to prefer using *(ok I forgot the term for it, but it’s essentially the written form of spoken words in different languages. IE. Kanji written in English. (Onii-Chan instead of brother) I know there’s an actual term for this, but I can’t remember it… oops)

Honestly pretty good. I agree with the other reviews that are saying the MC’s dense though. He’s very gullible and a dunce who’s trying to save everyone. It’s a bit generic but not overwhelmingly so to the point where you can’t read it.

The art’s amazing and the story isn’t the best but it’s still alright.
