Thoughts:
It’s honestly pretty good all things considered. It is a regression with romance but this isn’t on diddy tensei timing as the FMC IS OF AGE, it’s pretty wholesome too if you’re into that. 🥹✌️
I would’ve rated the story higher had there been some awkwardness/tension between the MC and the FMC; having a scene of the MC crying or something after seeing his deceased fiance in the flesh again as she stands there awkwardly trying to console her PBD kidnaper. Their relationship moved on so quickly as well from kidnapee and kidnaped to lovers, it felt like a case of mild stockholm syndrome rather than an organic relationship being built.
The story could’ve be more thorough in its earlier chapters as you’re left asking yourself why X and Z weren’t mentioned after an incident but, that’s manhwa for you. The translation also becomes butt during the later chapters.
Summary:
MC is super duper strong in his past life, just living as the heavenly demon has wrecked havoc among the central plains and the rest of Murim until he meets Dang So-Wol, his future fiance.
So-Wol is the sole survivor of the Tang clan which was personally destroyed by the heavenly demon, whom she vows to exact revenge upon as per her clan’s motto: Repay favors twice over and pay back any wrongdoings done upon you ten times over.
The MC decides to join her on her quest of revenge after they end up developing feelings for each other as both of them had nobody else in the world, not wanting to live in a world without her.
They both end up getting no diffed and our MC ends up regressing with all his memories for seemingly no reason and makes sure to build up his strength much quicker in hopes of taking down the heavenly demon in this life and preventing any harm So-Wol experienced in her previous life. (She was attacked and ended up with a huge scar in her previous life.)
