Isekai Walking - Chapter 69
Comments for chapter "Chapter 69"
bending everything with force to get some kind of slave in it. this is probably one of the most ridiculous “solutions” I’ve read xD
I see catering to degenerate perversions pays the bills. This is Japanese culture at it’s finest. It’s starting to be hard to find anything that has no slave harem, loli harem, other disgusting things. It takes but a moment to go to missing and exploited children website and read for a few minutes to want these filth and their panderers to die.
What *sses me off is embedding this crap so far into the story. It’s done to hook you into their degenerate mindset. Those deserve worse than death.
why. the fuck. would it be handled by slavery laws?
this is more an apprenticeship of old, medieval style. we already had arrangements like that in real life, without involving fucking slavery.
Literally any amount of thought, at all, into the slave thing immediately breaks it. How often is it going to be that someone with good intentions just happens to come across a child in need with no papers compared to someone kidnapping a child and then literally just bringing them to a random town to enslave. Actually nonsensical. Not to mention that it’s literally just child labour. Like seriously there are so many different ways the author could have taken this, but he chooses to shoehorn in slavery because trope.
and I’ve completely lost interest
Welp, guess I’m done with this manga
WHAT?!?
When covertly following Sora, she probably sneaked past many town guards to avoid attracting suspicion.
Does Sora have to directly order Hikari to go into ninja stealth mode?
of f-ing course it is a slave contract, why am I expecting something else, and why is the world suddenly recognized and has a concept of a “minor” are the MC is not minor? and as if enslaving a minor is any better, what is the author thinking? if anyone got fooled by the explanation of a special slave, this is just a complicated way of saying child labor.
Wonder if its like a God parent contract, “i promise to look after this child and raise them as if they were my own”.
I would expect that to be done at a temple tho. having slavers handle all contracts makes me nervous.
why is slavery always the option… doesn’t they know guardianship?
Good guy gate guard

This would be a logical solution for a country with a large influx of war orphans, few orphanages and probably no real court system, and an existing network of slave centers. It’s a foster system that lets people with functioning businesses care for surplus children without the obligations of adoption.
Also, the reason authors write slave systems into their works is to confront the readers with something unfamiliar and troublesome while at the same time realistic. How would a modern Japanese person respond to being confronted with slavery? What if it wasn’t always horrible, would you bend your beliefs to account for reality or deny the evidence of your eyes and ears? Would you become a noble crusader, or be too occupied with your own survival? Being angry that people would ask questions about difficult realities isn’t the moral high ground.
