Summary

After being reborn as a low-level demon in hell, Kakyu, a former Japanese, has spent two millennia developing unmatched strength. But out of the blue, he is banished to a “different world,” freed from the cruel underworld. While living the lazy life of a dream, Kakyu sees the hamlet he owes everything to being attacked. The village is destroyed even as everyone rushes to the scene. After taking in the lone survivor, Alus, Kakyu decides to nurture him to be the happiest person alive in order to pay back the debt.

I love it!! He’s not just a “human who got the body of a demon” but a “human who truly became a demon” and the kid ends up becoming his last link to his humanity (then the elf girl ig). He doesn’t make your typical mistakes and he has a lot of personality. It’s great!

This is a very good one, it’s as if the creator shared all of our frustrations with the Isakai genre and tropes, and strived to make something nice.

It subverts the slave trope, the MC INTELIGENTLY hides his power but WILL commit violence, not practice violence, COMMIT violence, if he needs to. It’s got a great start and i hope it keeps the momentum going and has a decent release schedule.
