I only read up to Chapter 14 before deciding to drop this Manhwa. I’m actually shocked that this is a Korean Manhwa, and not an Chinese Manhua. Even the worst Korean Manwhas I’ve seen were Gold compared to Chinese Manhuas. But this? This is literally if a Korean Manhwa wanted to copy most bad Chinese Manhua’s, and it’s bad as to be expected. 😂 The Art Quality is the most glaring issue this Manhwa has tbh. It’s poor, poor, underwhelming and inconsistent. In the middle chapters, like 12-14 or something, the MC fights another Dragon, and it’s stated to be the strongest Dragon Monster ever to be seen and fought with, MC defeats it predictably (And it took a whole damn chapter, and was too long and boring.) and MC takes the Head of the defeated dragon, yet, one of the Characters, the Spokesperson for the “Awakeners Association” (Unlike Solo Leveling, this Manhwa does not explain the Awakeners Association after 14 chapters. At this point, only ones we met from the AA, are villains or rude people, so no one can fault you if you think the AA are all just corrupt villains.) claims that this Dragon “Is the Largest Dragon he’s ever seen”.
.. yet, the only thing that was shown was the head of the defeated dragon, and it was the size of MC and everyone else, meaning, it was so small. 🤦‍♂️ The Art did not do the Dialogue justice. This reminds me of One Punch Man’s Webcomic, but despite having a cleaner Art and Artstyle, it’s still worse due to for one, bad art, and for two, the way it tells its story. The Introduction to the Main Character In the 1st Chapters is literally out of nowhere and confusing. Dude just pops up behind ugly looking art of crying women, facing off against Mama Mary’s Statue singing something and shooting lasers out of her eyes. It’s too rushed and all over the place. A better introduction would’ve been… Better.

Aside from good translations, and an good enough art compared to most Chinese Manhua’s (I’m being specific here, Chinese Manhua’s, not Korean Manhwas, this is worse than most Korean Manhwa Art.) this is not worth anyone’s time…. Unless you’re very bored and you can handle bad art and story. Like, the only other things I can compliment this on, is that the MC is smart enough to know when he has something of Value, cuz unlike most MC’s similar to him who are Overpowered or have been isolated or sequestered from the World who don’t realize how powerful they are, or that they can make items or have items that are so valuable, and they need money, and they sell something so valuable for cheap cuz they didn’t know better. MC needed money, knew he had something of value, and got the money he wanted.
Also the fact that they kinda properly show the difference between how a modern world person would react and how someone like him would react to problems. Unlike most Overpowered Characters like him who try their best to fit into society, MC here does not care.

You’re better off re-reading Solo Leveling at this point. The people here that are calling this Cringe and Generic were telling the truth. It really is. The Art is on par with bad Chinese Manhua’s, and the storytelling and the characters and so on are also bad. Had this not been categorized as Webtoon, Manhwa and you could see the Korean Dialogue that hadn’t been properly cleaned out after Translations, I would’ve thought this was a Chinese Manhua.

To summarize, this is basically “Solo Leveling”, “Han Dae Sung returns from Hell”, and “Player Returns After 10k Years in Hell” but dumbed down and worse. Like, in the later Chapter’s, the US instantly sends their Strongest Awakener Teams to both Recruit and Test out MC’s Power Level, and one of the Members of this US Awakener Group decides to Disrespect MC, and gets destroyed. Then, he decides to badmouth and rudely disrespects Korea, IN FRONT OF KOREANS. Like, what?! That’s one hell of a diplomatic crisis that’s for sure, especially since South Korea is an US Ally. And another cringe thing, is MC defeats an unprecedented threat (The Stated to be Strongest Dragon ever seen and fought for this World of Earth.) from a newly opened Portal that came out of nowhere suddenly, and some random dude who’s from the not properly introduced “Awakener Association” has this cringe reaction of trying to Deny MC’s feat, calling it “Cgi”. Bro, it’s happening right in your face, what Cgi?
