A God seeking “entertainment” by having its creations kill each other. Cool.
A God, that is so unbelievable weak, it gets killed by its own creation. Ok I chuckled, guess that answers the question whether a god can create an object it cannot lift itself x’D So it was not an almighty god. Cool. (Not that it answers anything, its a made up story, I know xD)
The “Shaddow Monarch” as “the only being” (of those angel huggers) that did not rebel … is there any moral involved here? For example, for me it does NOT paint him as a “good guy” here. He is basically saying that the war and the torture, that god created, has to go on. Doesn’t sound particularily great.

Well, at the very least, it tells why Monarchs as well as the other huggers both don’t really like him. He was allways an enemy of the Monarchs but refused to rebel with the others against god x’D

That story is not really “peak”. It is well illustrated, yeah, but a child playing in a sandbox and then drowning in said sandbox while now the sand fights against itself to do whatever … is pretty standart *shrug*
