The End of the World is Just a Game to Me

7.3/10, I legit thought this was a power fantasy, but nope just an apocalypse story. Honestly, half the reason the scores below 8 is just because apoc stories in general aren’t my cup of tea, but this is the only one I’ve read that’s done it for me. Art and plot are great, with a bit of horror and rare humor mixed in. Lots and lots of action, obviously.

No major flaws, yet at least, that I can see, but who knows. In any case, there is another comment saying MC has a trash personality but I quite like his personality, it’s relatively realistic (for who he is). He is definitely likeable, and side characters, although often left behind, are never unlikeable unless they’re supposed to be.

Really, if it weren’t for the genre, I’d give this a high 8, probably. And that sounds stupid, but they aren’t what I like at all normally, so I liking this at a middling seven is already shocking. Give it a shot! (but not when you’re alone/when it’s dark, I suggest).

3: I definitely wouldn’t recommend you read this, but it could be worse.
