Summary

Pretty boring story with a dumb MC. I would have thought being one of the kings of hell would imply some level of intelligence but it turns out no. No intelligence required to be a king of hell.
Random dude finds our demon MC (who can brainwash people) and asks him to hang out with the lords son. Here I am thinking MC will come up with some diabolical plan to gain power like brainwashing the lords son, killing the lord and use the son as a puppet to rule the territory and grow his power.
Nope, not at all. Instead the MC does a bunch of useless and very boring stuff, crates a big incident which is sure to rial up the church to go hunting for demons, and leaves the territory with nothing more than some pocket change.
If you like watching a pretty dumb MC outsmart complete idiot background characters then this is for you! Dumb > Dumber!

As of chapter 24, this is pretty bad. The premise was interesting, but for example, although mc is a woman, they cross dress the entire time and nothing interesting happens with that. There is some commentary about how the church is corrupt or religion is stupid which has been done to death and better too. If you wanted a demon for an mc I Used To Be A Boss does it way better. Honestly op isekai characters are about as interesting bcuz mc can literally brainwash people. And, with all this power, all mc does is be ‘nice’ then backstab people. They’re just an asshole, and not even an interesting one. It’s like a power trip where someone kills a buncha people but the only time they were wronged they were called the wrong name cuz people had forgotten.
tldr: ok, but why is mc doing any of this and why should I care

Definitely a very cerebral story, the art is decent but the plot is rather murky. Not an entirely bad read if you can ignore the fact that everyone around the MC is a blithering idiot.
