Putting my 2 cents here as well. Initially I thought this was gonna be more “subscription with the god’s youtube/twitch channel” garbage but it’s actually good.

No system tropes, nonsensical filler, just good ol’ MC growth and adventure. Worth a read.

I was putting this off because it looked generic, but it’s actually rather enjoyable. The main character is strong but has a weak mindset, and doesn’t faint during every single battle like most MC’s seem to do nowadays – and not from exertion from fighting. The main character is genuinely lovable, he doesn’t have toxic traits to be funny and genuinely wants to make friends. He feels human and exactly where he needs to be – in a way that most manhwa MCs haven’t been since the regression, isekai and returner genres became popular.

I can’t compare this series to anything off the top of my head. I wouldn’t call it out of the box, though. It’s just very decent. It’s kind of similar to “Leveling Up with the Sword“ in the way that it’s a zero-to-hero story, but with a lot more dumbed-down opponents here. It’s definitely way too early for me to say that, though, so take it with a grain of salt, as I doubt the entirety of the story will be like that.

I won’t be bookmarking it since I don’t expect anything to pique my interest while reading it. I’ll pick it back up if I see someone I know with similar tastes giving it a good review.
