I don’t know why the reviews are so high. It’s pretty generic story, nothing excited. His friends are suffering inside the lab while he’s making new friends outside. At best 3/5. No revenge drive, no character development even after being tortured in lab for 10 years, still childish.

Very similar to eleceed and really really good, has great potential as of chapter 16, I was actually quite surprised this wasn’t slop

It’s just a battle shonen. I’d personally rate this a 4.5 by Mangaread standards but it’s still a nice short read. While it’s not insanely generic, it’s a combination of things I’ve read before.

So…he’s basically Wolverine but w/o the adamantium and a few other abilities that Wolverine is considered immortal to some degree.

This isn’t “fresh” or “unique”.
If you cross the Wolverine & Weapon X stories…
…within a sterotypical violent Manhwa school environment…
This is the story you would get.
That isn’t to say it’s not good… it’s not bad….
….But for those less well read… it’s NOT original.
Even the angst about mutant rights, etc… it’s all been done before.

after reading the title
the 1st thing that came to my mind was “Deadpool”?
It’s like if lookism and eleceed had a baby. It’s mostly street fights, but with powers. However, those powers cannot go to far, meaning no telekinesis or other things like that. Every power must come from the body, like regen, metal absorbtion, etc. And conveniently, having powers makes you automatically handsome. Very good read. Do give it a try.
