Summary
A brief description of the manhwa The Return of the Prodigious Swordmaster:
Yuma, a eunuch who dedicated his life to the empire, was falsely accused and put to death.
“If only I had one more opportunity…”
He went back in time to when he was sixteen, just when he feared his final moments were drawing nigh.
A dream, perhaps? No, he had actually returned to his past. He also understood what he needed to accomplish first.
This time, I’m not going to turn into a eunuch.
Despite the fact that his last life was sad, this one will be profitable for him!
Yuma was transformed into a eunuch by the hand of fate, but fate also caused him to go back to his previous state. He started making amends for all of his previous wrongdoings and tragedies.
This is the start of Yuma’s incredible journey to alter the course of history!

there are some glaring wtfs throughout but overall a decent read. it has reincarnation trope but some of what happens just doesnt make a lot of sense with relation to the past life. its enjoyable better than many of the mangas if read
An mc makes a lot of mistakes after regression, a lot of saving from other people, maybe he deserved to be a eunuch in his previous life.
lets give it a solid 6,5
Art is not the best (in comparason), but its fine for some extra time on your hand
3.5-4/5
Honestly, it’s pretty well established by his former position that the MC was sufficiently well-informed in his past life that he has the knowledge and experience to make complex plans and re-orient his plans in this life. However, it’s jarring at best to have him just go “Ah, this person who the readers have 0 knowledge of can help!” so often. A Deus Ex Machina damn near every chapter. I feel like the author is using the regression as a free pass to write whatever the hell they want as they go instead of planning anything out.
An easy solution: A single moment of the MC sitting down and planning — laying out their thought process to themselves and thus to the reader — would go really far in making this a far more enjoyable read. Especially if they go over a contingency or two AND think about how other players in the world would react to the changes they make to the timeline. They just have things too well planned out and the knowledge they’re taking from the former timeline should slowly become less and less useful as they change more and more about the way things progress.
In fact, this is missing in a lot of regression stories and really holds the genre back.
Honestly the fast progressing story matches well with the sub-par art, the 3.9-4 rating is perrty accurate. Not great but also not wasting time wit da bs
Time go brrrr
For the first 8 chapters it didn’t feel like time was passing at all, but the way that it was progressing made it feel like I was skipping half the cutscenes.
Wow! 17 chaps already?!
art is not the best, but its still fine
Another story about a guy who is way too concerned with the integrity of his dick, so he can bang the queen.
