The Slow Second Life of a Dismissed Dark Soldier (age 30)

Ya know how most anime makes the girls gay for each other? After about 40 chapters all the B cast guys are pretty much gay for each other, I mean most of the girls are also gay for each other too, so the maddness kinda balances out. It really feels like rushing the trope, which kinda turns most of the male cast into effeminate mushes.

If your going to turn half the cast gay/bi or whatever, you need to ground the characters into solid archetypes, the B cast is such cheap trope its jarring, and makes traps and gays boring. It kinda feels like things are shoe horned in, less for gag more for AGENDA.

But it all kinda comes back to solid character design, most of the B cast feels very low effort, becoming the same type of mushy trap want to be. I mean I have read enough rom coms to notice the difference in characters, because most follow some sort of primary archetype with enough differences to make them feel different than other characters.

Its not like this is the first manga that devolved to the creators fetishes and lose the plot and story. Now mind you, maybe I am use to more refined degeneracy like KissXSIS or Lotte no Omocha, so I may be giving it hard time.      

But really, it feels like it would less annoying if the guys paired up or formed their own harems, so you can have the fujoshi fodder in the background, in a less random and cringe way. Or just all in on a BI harem MC, so you can flesh out the B cast a bit more.

And yes before you ask, zippy is a connoisseur of degeneracy, just no milking male mintaurs please… I still have my self respect  ….
