The Way That Knight Lives as a Lady

The plot starts to contradict itself and fall apart around chapter 30. This is then followed by around 45 chapters that feel like side content filler with no importance. The plot only starts to recover and feel like it’s part of the main narrative again around chapter 75.

Another annoyance is the MC never makes any real attempt to train her new body enough that she can wield a sword again. They show her walk around a fountain once in an early chapter then basically drop it entirely. It feels like it’s against her character. It’s a plot point that only exists so the the ML can swoop in and save the day. She is no more independent then any other FL in a precarious situation then any other Shoujo story.

I do appreciate how straight forward many of the characters are. They will speak openly about their secrets once they are found out rather than just playing dumb.

At the time of writing this, I read chapter 105. The plot has definitely improved but it’s hard to recommend thanks to those 45 chapters that destroy the pacing of the main narrative. Their are a few small details in those 45 chapters of filler like content so it’s not as simple as just skipping it.
